Mette was born on 9 October 2007 at the Lileng family's "Smalmyras Kennel" in Plassen, a small town near Trysil in Norway. After repeated contact and seen pictures of the litter, I could take her into my arms on 8 December.
With her clever eyes and roguish snout, she immediately stole my heart. Together with her 2 sisters and 2 brothers, she was brought up lovingly in the Sverre Lileng family where she immediately presented herself as an independent lady with a strong personality.
During our flight to the Netherlands, she was allowed to stay with us in the cabin in a special bag.
She was fine with it and slept like a log all through the flight. When we arrived home, she clearly enjoyed the attention of all the other dogs: Bauskje and Tjappo were curious and Yri, Kaya and Kyra, Piet and Bea's dogs, were just as excited. Bea had taken excellent care of the other dogs during our trip to Norway. Mette went with the flow and took her time to take in the new environment her own personal way.
She is a cheerful, playful and well-balanced lady who loves to explore things and is always in the mood for playing with us and the other dogs.
