When I was young, I encountered Norwegian Elkhounds and they made an indelible impression on me. In 1984, the time was right for the arrival of our first Elkhound called Esta, five years later followed by Torwald. From that day on, we have always had more than one Elkhound. Currently, we have Bauskje and Mette.

In 2003, Tjappo, our Swedish Lapphund, joined, in 2008 Iza and 2 years later Bosse, together with our Elkhounds they form a wonderful team.

The "Van de Wueste Graaf" kennel name is derived from the "De Wueste Graaf" brook that flows alongside our farm and which used to be of major importance to the inhabitants of this region.
